Have a Story Our Readers Will Love?
We’re always looking for fresh voices, smart ideas, and stories that make life a little more interesting—or a whole lot easier.
If you have a great idea involving food, tech, travel, or home, we’d love to hear it. You don’t need a mile-long résumé or a collection of fancy credentials. You just need a strong idea, a clear point of view, and something genuinely useful to share.
Before writing the full article, send us a pitch using the form below.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome pitches in four main categories:
Food: Recipes, kitchen shortcuts, ingredient guides, food trends, entertaining ideas, restaurant finds, budget-friendly meals, and the stories that bring people together around the table.
Tech: Helpful apps, digital tools, product guides, tech trends, online safety, everyday troubleshooting, and practical ways technology can make life simpler.
Travel: Destination guides, hidden gems, weekend getaways, road trips, travel tips, honest reviews, budget-friendly ideas, and first-person experiences worth sharing.
Home: Decorating, organizing, cleaning, gardening, DIY projects, entertaining, home maintenance, and realistic ideas for creating a space you love.
We’re especially interested in stories that are useful, specific, original, and written with real people in mind. Give us something readers can learn, try, save, share, or excitedly text to a friend.
What to Include in Your Pitch
Please send:
A proposed headline
A short summary of your idea
Why the story is a good fit for our readers
A quick outline of what the article will cover
A short author bio
A current headshot
A link to your website, portfolio, or preferred social profile
Keep the pitch clear and fairly brief. We don’t need a formal essay about the essay—just enough to understand your angle and why it matters.
Article Guidelines
If your pitch is accepted, your finished article should:
Be between 500 and 800 words
Be original and not previously published
Have a clear focus and an engaging, conversational tone
Offer useful information—not vague advice or recycled talking points
Use trustworthy sources for factual claims
Credit any quotes, research, statistics, or outside material
Include links to original sources when appropriate
Use headings and short paragraphs to make the article easy to read
Be carefully proofread before submission
Avoid discriminatory, hateful, misleading, or unnecessarily explicit content
Avoid unsupported medical, legal, or financial claims
Disclose any conflicts of interest, free products, sponsored travel, affiliate relationships, or brand connections
Please don’t send content written primarily to promote a product, service, business, or backlink. A relevant mention may be fine, but the article should serve the reader first.
A Quick Word About AI
Your pitch and article should reflect your own ideas, reporting, experience, and voice.
If you use generative AI for research, outlining, or editing, please disclose that when submitting your work. AI-generated facts, quotations, sources, or personal experiences should never be presented as real. You are responsible for the originality and accuracy of everything submitted under your name.
Photos and Other Media
If you include photographs, graphics, or other media, you must own the content or have permission to let us publish it. Please don’t send images pulled from Google, Pinterest, social media, or another website unless you have documented permission to use them.
Compensation and Contributor Benefits
At this time, contributed articles are unpaid.
Published contributors will receive:
A byline
A short author bio
A headshot
A backlink to a personal website, portfolio, or professional social profile
The opportunity to share their expertise and work
Backlinks must be relevant and appropriate. We don’t accept keyword-stuffed links, misleading links, or links created solely to manipulate search rankings. We may remove or add a standard link attribute when needed for editorial, security, or search-compliance reasons.
Please don’t send a completed article unless we request one. An accepted pitch is not a guarantee of publication, and we may decide not to publish a submitted draft if it doesn’t meet our editorial standards.
